Nyatike plans to light up its towns

The Nyatike Constituency Development Fund is set to instal solar streetlights in all major towns. Area MP Edick Anyanga said the first phase of the project in which 20 solar lights will be erected will cost Sh5 million in the current financial year. Among the centres to benefit from the first phase are Sori, Luanda, Ochuna, Muhuru Bay, Olasi and Macalder. “Solar lights are among the major development plans in the kitty and will continue to primary and secondary schools after all towns are lit,” Anyanga said.
