KISUMU MCAs want lights and CCTV cameras installed in the town to curb crime. Nominated MCA Pamela Owuor has tabled a motion in the assembly. She said street lights will ensure investors are safe. Owuor said there are no lights from the airport to the CBD and in places like Kondele. She said businesswomen use lamps at night. Nominated MCA Aslam Khan said rapists take advantage of poorly-lit areas to prey on victims.
