Help arrives for Nyakach clash victims

RESIDENTS of Kericho West and Nyakach districts who were recently affected by border clashes have received 1,100 iron sheets and foodstuff from the national government. Nyakach subcounty commissioner Chaunga Wachaunga said the donation will help clash victims to rebuild their houses. He said some 50 cartons of cooking oil have been donated to the victims. Chaunga said 250 bags of rice and 100 bags of beans have been distributed to some 533 households. He was speaking to the Star on the phone yesterday.
