Lugari The special programmes department through the Western Kenya Flood Mitigation project yesterday donated more than Sh2 million to three community based organisations. The CBOs involved in development activities are situated in Musembe sublocation and Lugari subcounty. While presenting cheques to the beneficiaries on Saturday, the project subcounty coordinator Nahashon Wawire asked them to exercise prudence and impartiality in utilising the funds. “This project targets the disadvantaged in society,” he said.
