Woman burns herself to death

kisumu A 22-year-old woman yesterday burnt to death in a shop belonging to her employer at Kibuye Market in Kisumu county. Kisumu Central deputy police boss Joe Lekuta said Irene Night quarrelled with her employer before opening the shop where she set herself alight at around 9pm. “We still don’t know why she disagreed with his employer or whether it’s a case of love triangle,” he said. Lekuta said the fire spread to about six houses and properties of unknown value were destroyed. He said the body was taken to Jaramogi Oginga Odinga Referral hospital.
