THE Kisumu county government has been accused of presiding over massive corruption. The assembly’s Public Investment and Accounts Committee report which was expected to be tabled at the assembly on Tuesday revealed massive financial mismanagement and flouting of procurement laws. The report questions the disbursement and expenditure of Sh25 million in January. On Tuesday, Speaker Anne Adul adjourned the assembly and some MCAs said that was “a plot to delay tabling of the controversial report”.
