Tombe Kitutu Masaba MP Timothy Bosire has demanded a complete overhaul of schools’ boards of governors in his constituency for failure to perform. Speaking at Tombe during a meeting on Wednesday, he said most of them are comprised of retirees who cannot offer fresh ideas on institutions’ management. Bosire said young professionals should sit on the boards. “They should be chairing because they are well conversant with the changing education trends and can advise on new paths.” Bosire, however, said he is not downplaying the retirees’ contributions.
