Dawn blaze razes Kisumu Jubilee stalls

FIVE stalls were yesterday burnt down in Kisumu's Jubilee market. Kisumu Central police boss Musa Kongoli said the incident occurred around 4.30am. He said the fire razed down part of the market and spread over to the surrounding buildings. Kongoli said property of unknown amount was lost in the fire. Milimani ward representative Edwin Anayo said the fire brigade personnel from Kisumu county arrived at the scene before the Kenya Power and Lighting Company switched off power.
