SIX water purification units in Kisumu county have been revived to improve water quality. The Sh44 million purification units were rehabilitated by the Lake Victoria Environmental Management Programme II. LVEMP II national project coordinator Francisca Owuor said the facility will ensure provision of safe drinking water to Kisumu residents. The facility is located at the Lake Victoria South Water Services Board premises.
