Red Cross to donate shoes

The Kenya Red Cross will donate 15,660 shoes to poor pupils in 42 primary schools in Kisii county. It will partner with Tom Shoes Company from the US. County Red Cross chair- person Magdalene Mwebi yesterday said the company has already disbursed 14,000 cartons of shoes to 27 schools. She was speaking at the launch of the programme at Nyankongo Primary School. “We will distribute shoes to orphans,” Mwebi said.
