Two ODM MPs have petitioned Cord principals to ensure the coalition fields sole candidates in its strongholds in the coming by-elections. Aduma Owuor (Nyakach) and Shakeel Shabbir (Kisumu East) called on Cord leaders Raila Odinga (ODM), Kalonzo Musyoka (Wiper) and Moses Wetang’ula (Ford-Kenya) to agree and allow ODM to field candidates in Nyanza in the upcoming polls. They said because Nyanza is an ODM stronghold, the party should be allowed to field candidates for the coalition.
