FARMERS within the Lake Victoria basin have been advised to take advantage of Kisumu International Airport by embracing horticultural farming. Kisumu county agriculture executive member Stephen Orot said the region has fertile land for horticultural crops production. “These crops fetch a lot of money going by the current demand,” Orot said, adding that farmers should use the opportunity to create more wealth.
