The Kisumu government will build a modern assembly building at a cost of Sh412 million. The money for the building was allocated in the 2013-14 and 2014-15 financial years and approved by the House. The building will house chambers and offices of the speaker, leader of majority, chief whip, leader of minority, their deputies and MCAs.
