ADMINISTRATION police officers in Kakamega have received free training on conflict resolution and effective communication by a non-governmental organisation. Centre for Non-violence Communication said there is need for police to be equipped with the knowledge to act as models. A trainer with the organisation, Raj Gill, said poor communication between the officers and the public makes the work of the police difficult.
