A task force on school fees has recommended the upgrading of two more schools in Busia county to national status. Speaking after collecting views from stakeholders at St Mathias Secondary School in Busia town yesterday, the team said they selected St Monica Chakol Girls and Sigalame Boys to become national schools. Busia County Education Board chairman Stephen Odebero said this will bring the number of national schools in the county to four. The team agreed that secondary schools fees should be harmonised to make education affordable to all.
