The Kakamega county assembly on Monday passed a record seven bills during a special sitting. The assembly has only passed the county Finance Bill and Appropriation Bill since its inception. Members unanimously voted to pass the County Revenue Administration and Collection Bill, Abattoirs Bill, County Early Childhood Development bill, County Assembly Service Bill County Polytechnics Bill, Alcoholic Drinks Control Bill and County Tourism Bill.
