A Kisumu MCA has opposed calls by Ugenya MP David Ochieng to have polls moved from August to December. Nyalenda ward representative Jacktone Onunga said according to constitution, general elections should be held on the second Tuesday of August. The MP had filed a notice with the National Assembly Speaker Justin Muturi to have the election moved to the third Monday of December. Onunga said the MP should focus on development issues that can improve the lives of Kenyans.
