A MEMBER of the Kakamega county assembly has launched a programme for funding small-scale traders in his ward. Marama West ward representative Habel Nanjendo said he will build kiosks for women traders at designated areas. He said the women sell their wares on the roadside. “I will also give them money to boost their businesses,” Nanjendo said. He said his intention is to empower residents by creating jobs for the youths and women in the ward.
