MUMIAS Sugar Company agricultural manager Wesley Koech has said poor service delivery has affected the firm's relationship with sugarcane farmers. He said delayed payments to farmers and poor filed services are challenges to the company. Koech said the company is developing a farmers’ visitation book to provide ways of auditing performance of field staff. “The books will be kept by farmers and will be signed by field officers and farmers as proof that the officers in the field are working,” he said.
