TWO robbery suspects were on Monday night gunned down by police in Matete, Kakamega county . The suspects had attempted to attack truck drivers on the Eldoret-Bungoma highway. Police said the suspects wanted to loot goods on transit at Chimoi area near Webuye town. Speaking to the Star on the phone yesterday, subcountyAP boss Rama James said the two are suspected to be members of a gang that terrorises truck drivers drivers on the highway.
