KISUMU government will channel five per cent of its annual budget to its 35 wards to fund development projects once the Ward Development Budget Bill is passed into law. Speaking during public participation for the scrutiny of the bill yesterday, assembly majority leader Samuel Ong'ou said the money will facilitate development at ward levels by ensuring that a specific portion is devoted to particular projects.
