Digital land office launch

THE Kisumu county digital land registration will open this month after the installation of the Geographical Integrated System is complete, Roads executive Vincent Kodera has said. He said the system will be rolled out in all the subcounties to speed up land registration.Kodera was speaking to the Star on the phone yesterday. He said the GIS will ensure information on land is stored in one central data for easy access to information on land. This will reduce cases of land frauds and grabbing, which are rampant in the county.
