Funds too little, say street kids

Street families in Kisumu town yesterday lauded the government’s for setting aside Sh300 million for their rehabilitation but said the money is not enough. In the Sh1.76 trillion budget read by Finance secretary Henry Rotich in Parliament on Thursday, the Jubilee government allocated Sh13 billion for vulnerable groups, including street families.
