A new way to stop drugs from being stolen from hospitals has been created by the Homa Bay county government Speaking during a fundraiser at Sienga SDA church in Rusinga Island, Governor Cyprian Awiti said every public hospital or health centre will display the number and available drugs on the notice board each time to minimise theft. He urged residents to report any suspicious dealings with government drugs. Awiti said the county government will soon rehabilitate Mbita Subcounty Hospital. He said they have hired 120 nurses to boost healthcare delivery in in the county.
