Lobby wants condoms in schools

A child protection lobby in Busia has urged the national government to introduce contraceptives in primary and secondary schools. Rural Education and Economic Enhancement Programme director Mary Makokha also urged the government to legalise abortion among girls to save them from trauma. “Tiny girls who give birth rapture the birth canals, thus leaving them traumatised and sometimes succumb to such injuries,” she said.
