THE Kisii county government has launched a Sh100 million solar power project. The project will see 200 lamp posts erected in the Kisii central business district. The county government has partnered with the Rural Development Solutions and Works in the project. Speaking during the launch in Kisi town yesterday, Governor James Ongwae said the project will be completed in two months. Trade executive Moiro Omari said the project will boost security in the urban areas and attract investors.
