Prioritise the security of Kenyans by investing more in intelligence gathering, the government has been told. Elders from the Bukusu, Teso and Sabaot communities who live in Bungoma and Trans Nzoia counties also called for the suspension of all political rallies until security in the country is addressed. The elders are parties to the Mabanga Peace Accord that was brokered before the March 4, 2013 general election to forestall election-related violence in the two counties.
