KISII Governor James Ongwae and world-renowned master artist Elkana Ong’esa are leading a delegation from Kisii county to the annual Smithsonian Folklife Festival in the US. The delegation arrived in Washington on Tuesday for the festival, which kicked off yesterday and runs through July 6. Kenya, one of the exhibitors, will showcase her uniqueness, people and coveted destination for prehistoric culture, modern traditions, cultural expressions, arts, contemporary technology, culture and human habitat environment.
