AN acute food shortage is looming ahead of this harvesting season in Bondo Sub County. The County is likely to experience a deficit of 108,000 bags of maize when farmers harvest their crops. Area agricultural extension officer Aggrey Mamesa said the sub county is projected to realize a harvest of 66,000 bags of maize against the required 174,000 bags, translating to 33%.
