WEST Kenya Company farmers in Bungoma county yesterday demonstrated at the Misikhu weighbridge over reduction of cane prices by the firm. The farmers said the company has cut the price per tonne from Sh4,500 to Sh2,900. “How can they reduce the price yet they know very well that the cost of living and that of farm inputs is going up,” said Gregory Nabukwesi, the farmers' representative.
