TWENTY MCAs from Busia county have appealed to the national government to foot burial expenses of the six people who died in a boat accident in River Nzoia, Bunyala subcounty last Sunday. On behalf of the group, county assembly speaker Bernard Wamalwa accused the government of failing to help in rescue operations. "The national government has distanced itself from the ongoing rescue operation to recover the missing bodies," he said.
