BUNGOMA county security team has summoned two civil society officials in the area who claimed that Sabaot Land Defence Force militia group is regrouping. The allegations arose two weeks ago, after a businessman and his wife were killed in cold blood at Cheptais market. Area commissioner Maalim Mohammed said they had instructed local CID chief to take statements from Job Bwonya and Taiga Wanyaja of the Western Rights Human Watch over the claims.
