More than 290 women suffering from fistula will benefit from the ongoing free camp at the Kisii Level Six Hospital. The hospital’s medical superintendent Dr Enock Ondari said so far 30 women have received corrective surgery. Briefing the press at the facility, Ondari said the condition is caused by prolonged labour or mishandling of the patients. “The successful surgeries were conducted on the first three days," he said.
