KAKAMEGA Deputy Governor Philip Kutima has said the running and management of the county general hospital cannot revert to the national government. Kutima said the Transition Authority has approached the county government to surrender the management of the level five facility to the national government. He said the constitution is clear that the health function must be devolved, except for national referral facilities. Speaking in his office yesterday, Kutima said the county government will fight any attempt to revert the hospital to the national government.
