Kisii stone carving conference set in November

The fourth annual edition of the African Stone Talk International Symposium will be held in Kisii from November 4, World-renown sculptor Elkana Ong’esa said that the event has attracted other famous local and foreign sculptors. Addressing the press in Kisii, Ong’esa said the event will be held at the Gusii Stadium and Nyamage grounds. “The symposium is aimed at bringing international attention to our Kisii soap stone and its contribution to the county economy and global culture,” Ong'esa said.
