BRIGHT needy students from Kisumu county will benefit from a Sh45 million bursary. Speaking at the Kisumu county assembly on Wednesday, Education executive Jenifer Kere said the money will be the second distribution of the bursary. She said 8,549 students will benefit from the bursary this financial year. While tabling a report on projects carried out by her department during the 2013-14 financial year, Kere said they will support 3,987 girls and 4,539 boys in high schools, colleges and universities.
