THE Migori government has begun distributing free mosquito nets that President Uhuru Kenyatta launched before his meeting was disrupted by rowdy youths on September 8. The youths heckled Governor Okoth Obado and threw shoes to the dais, forcing the President to cut short his speech. The county’s Health department targets to distribute 638,826 nets to 223,977 households. The nets are being distributed in primary schools, shopping centres and health facilities in each of the eight subcounties .
