FISH traders in Kisumu town have protested against increased prices of fish by-products. JayFish Company has increased the price from Sh5 to Sh8 per kilo of the by-products. The traders on Tuesday said it is unfair for the company to increase the price as fish prices at the lake have reduced by Sh60 a kilo. Ushirika Group leader Ben Onyango said JayFish complained of an increase in fish prices at the lake. “We doubt this explanation because fish prices have reduced,” he said.
