Oparanya, Knut in talks over nursery teachers

TALKS that could result in the hiring of Early Childhood Development Education Teachers by the Kakamega government are going on, Governor Wycliffe Oparanya has said. He said he is negotiating with the Kenya National Union of Teachers. “Employment of ECDE teachers has been a big problem. We had planned to hire 900 teachers but Knut went to court to stop us,” Oparanya told the Star in his office on Tuesday.
