KISUMU county police chiefs yesterday clashed over the Saturday killing of two suspects, including an AP officer. County AP commander Gradus Atinda sensationally claimed that the killings may have been a cover-up by CID officers some of whom have been linked to criminal activities in the area. Nyanza regional police commander Charles Narangwi, however, said the duo were shot as they prepared to attack CID officers.
