SIAYA A burial ceremony of a provincial administrator on Saturday was temporarily interrupted after two politicians clashed over graft in the county government. Gem MP Jakoyo Midiwo and Central Gem MCA Fred Ouda had a spat that nearly degenerated to a fist fight. Ouda told mourners the county government was building multimillion-shillings wooden offices for chief officers. Midiwo said the construction tender was irregularly awarded to a wealthy Asian from Mombasa. He said it was ironic that a block perimeter wall was being built to cordon off the wooden offices.
