POLICE in Kisumu town are on the spot over theft of motorcycles. A motorcycle impounded by two police officers on the Kisumu-Nairobi Highway disappeared under unclear circumstances. Motorists want the officers to be arrested and charged. Owner Silvanus Otieno yesterday told the Star the officers took the motorcycle to their residence instead of Kisumu Central police station.
