Local and foreign investors in Kisii county have been warned against constructing houses without approval. Land executive Moses Onderi said the county government has set up a development committee to approve all buildings. He said no investor will be allowed to continue with any project without approval. Addressing the press in his office on Wednesday, Onderi said safety of the people must be given priority. “Any building that will be put up without the committee’s approval will be deemed illegal,” he said.
