KISII County governor James Ongwae has put developers who have encroached road reserves and riparian areas on notice. Ongwae said that his government will apply the necessary law to demolish building erected on the reserves for expansion of the roads. He at the same time said that his government will repossess grabbed public land to put up projects that will help residents. “I know the move will attract a lot of opposition but we will apply the law as required,” Ongwae said.
