The Bungoma county assembly will this week pass laws to regulate consumption of illicit brews. Speaker John Makali yesterday said the assembly will resume its sitings and debate laws on busaa consumption. He said the had been tabled will be debated and then passed into law. It will be the first bill to be passed into law by the assembly. County commissioner Maalim Mohammed had asked the assembly to enact the laws.
