KAKAMEGA governor Wycliffe Oparanya has put aside ksh.715Million to revive agriculture and health sectors in the financial year 2013-14 budget. Speaking during the prayer day service at Bukhungu Stadium in Kakamega on Saturday, Oparanya said, dairy farming, horticulture farming, tea and fish farming and sugar were the main drivers to revive agriculture in the County. “I will focus on capacity building for extension services, develop farm demonstrations and improve seed variety,” said Oparanya.
