A man in Butere is alleged to have set his house on fire yesterday evening burning his five-year-old daughter. Suleiman Kulubi burnt the house after a quarrel with his wife who escaped and reported the matter to the village elder. The 10pm incident terrified residents of Buyoka village in Shinamwenyuli sub-location as rescuers bravely tried to reach the burning infant but were beaten back by the intense flames and smoke as the razing inferno overwhelmed them.
