THE Kenya Forest Service will plant more than two million trees in Lugari constituency by end of the short rain season. Lugari zonal forest manager Stanley Mwangi said 720,000 seedlings have been planted on 470 hectares of forestland since the beginning of the season. He said another 14,000 were planted in public schools in an exercise spearheaded by his department and the Ministry of Education.
