The Siaya county government yesterday sacked 32 workers. County human resource manager David Ayieko said fresh recruitment will be carried out. Most of those dismissed worked in the office of the Governor Cornel Rasanga and his deputy Ouma Onyango. “We shall make a formal communication to the affected persons later,” Ayieko said. He said the sacked workers will be paid their pending salaries. The sacking came a day after employees who were recruited when Rasanga was out of office said they feared their appointments will be revoked.
