KISUMU Governor Jack Ranguma has said lack of public land is a challenge to the county’s development plans. He said the shortage has been caused by illegal allocation of public land to individuals. Ranguma said public land in Kisumu was grabbed during the tenure of the now defunct Kisumu municipal Council. He said the problem needs to be addressed failure to which the county will not have land for investment programmes. “We don’t want investors to go away due to shortage of land in our county.
